Join Captain Kevin Cormack, the Executive Officer of the 1GFG, for our Third Thursday Veterans Day program as we look back at 250 years of this military organization. From its founding in 1771 to its modern-day activities, the First Company Governor’s Foot Guard has been an important military organization. Captain Cormack will discuss the Foot Guard’s Revolutionary War connections with Marshal Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau, their work assembling field hospitals during the pandemic, and the history behind their iconic uniforms.
