April 28th: Windsor Locks Canal (Northern end in Suffield)

Discover the history and stories of the Windsor Locks Canal on a Hike Through History led by Patrick Smith Curator of the Museum of Connecticut History in Hartford. This will be a flat 3.5 mile hike on a paved surface that features beautiful scenery, fascinating history, occasional wildlife and if we time it right maybe some gorgeous spring greenery. This program is free and suitable for ages 8 and up. Event will be held rain or shine unless weather conditions are too hazardous.
