Hartford Public Library and the Connecticut State Library present an appearance by author and World Wrestling Champion Bob Backlund, in celebration of this year’s Summer Learning theme of Wellness, Fitness & Sports!

Professional Wrestling legend Bob Backlund will make and appearance at the Hartford Public Library!  Saturday, July 9, 12:00 noon, Hartford Public Library and the Connecticut State Library present an appearance by author and World Wrestling Champion Bob Backlund, in celebration of this year’s Summer Learning theme of Wellness, Fitness & Sports! Backlund was an accomplished amateur wrestler at North Dakota State University and had a career as a professional wrestler for over 30 years.  Backlund was inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Fame in 2013. Current WWE star Darren Young will join Mr. Backlund Backlund: From All-American Boy to Professional Wrestling World Champion.
