Social Studies Consultant Steve Armstrong will be the Third Thursday speaker on April 21, 2022, from 12:00 PM- 1:00 PM.

Steve Armstrong, Social Studies Consultant at the Connecticut State Board of Education, will discuss how educators are implementing Connecticut’s new African American/Black and Puerto Rican/Latino course of studies high school curriculum on April 21, 2022, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.  Connecticut is the first state in the nation to require that all high schools offer elective courses on African-American, Black, Puerto Rican, and Latino contributions to the United States’ and Connecticut’s history, society, economy, and culture.
