##NEWS ##

(HARTFORD, CT)  The Connecticut State Library’s Division of Library Development is pleased to announce that the first version of findIT CT, the statewide library catalog, is now live! Over 10.3 million item holdings from more than 150 public, school, and academic libraries from four of Connecticut’s consortia are available for searching. You can findIT at https://finditct.org. findIT CT is being developed in phases and this is only the beginning. The next phase will see the holdings of all other participating libraries loaded into the catalog, representing approximately an additional 10.4 million item records. The third phase will see the requestIT CT Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system developed and implemented. At that time, staff training workshops will be offered.

The Connecticut State Library thanks Bibliomation for partnering with us on this project, Equinox for developing the software, and participating libraries for contributing their records to the catalog.
