Answer: No. There is no direct cost to eligible patrons of any kind. This program is primarily funded by the federal and state governments and by grants from the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). The Connecticut Volunteer Services for the Blind and Handicapped, Inc., produces audio books which are donated to the library for inclusion in the collection. The library is also supported by the generous donations from patrons and the public.
