Connecticut public libraries lent 3,891,944 items to non-residents during the 2015-2016 year (which ended with February). This is down from the 2014-2015 total of 4,175,664. Reimbursement payments should go out to libraries in April. The current funding for payments was reduced from $950,000 in FY2015 to an expected $837,540 in FY2016, so most libraries will see a smaller payment this year.
Information on each library’s Expected Payment Amounts, and Loan, Borrow, and Net-Plus Loan Statistics is now available.
Libraries should download an Excel report form for the current 2016-2017 year. Also, libraries must report now how they spent the payment they received last year in April 2015. Most libraries have already spent this money, so libraries should go to this survey form and submit their figures.
