Naugatuck, New Haven County, Town established in May 1844, Parent Towns: Bethany, Oxford, and Waterbury
The Naugatuck Probate District was constituted July 4, 1863, from the Waterbury Probate District. The towns of Beacon Falls, Middlebury, and Prospect became part of the Naugatuck Probate District on January 5, 2011.

Record books, volumes 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 15, 19, 21, 23, 29, 1863-1916, were microfilmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah and are available for use in the History and Genealogy reading room or through the LDS Family History Centers.
The probate files in accession 2012-034 were transferred to the Connecticut State Library on the following dates: May 1, 2012, July 2, 2012 and November 7, 2013.
